Hey Missions partners & Friends,

Here is an update we made to share with all of you. It communicates what has been going on the past few months including a recent missions outreach we returned from.

Graduation & Commissioning of Schools

Last month, our “Backpack Europe” missions school graduated 24 students from 6 months of learning, growing, and serving as missionaries. It is exciting that many are becoming missionaries in different countries and many others are headed into the education & workforce, ready to be messengers of the Gospel wherever they go. We saw amazing fruit from that season (see statistics table). These teams went to Albania, Italy, Greece, Spain, Georgia, Egypt, Netherlands, Kosovo,and Montenegro.

We also graduated a “TESOL” (Teaching English) school that served the Connect Community ministry at our campus so well. During our connect community ministry we had 8 locals come to the bible study, 4 of which are muslims really wanting to know more about Jesus, so exciting that God is moving in people's lives here. The 2 students from this TESOL are in Italy now pioneering an English class ministry much like our Connect Community ministry here, multiplication!

Last month we also sent out 2 missions schools into a season of outreach for 3 months where they will be sharing the Gospel to the nations!!!

French Class

Jacob’s French Class

For the month of June we set aside time to focus on learning French. We went to a French language school we knew of in Paris that a few other missionaries from our campus have gone to. We went to classes every weekday for all of June, totaling 72 hours of the French intensive learning course. We found the time really helpful for us in learning and continuing to build a foundation for the language. We hope to be able to take another course or two early next year to keep advancing and going for the goal of B1 French! In the meantime we will be continuing to practice and learn more from home.

Million Month

We have been partnering with an organization called Awakening Europe for “Million Month”, an initiative across Europe to see a million people saved this summer. We have been doing Evangelism with them in Paris and running Open Air street programs for them.

Paris Je T’aime (PJT)

In just a week from now our annual summer outreach “Paris Je T’aime” will start! We are excited for things to kick off and for participants to join us as we prepare to do a lot of outreach and evangelism in the city for this event. Jacob will be involved in helping with the set up team for the evening ‘open airs’ which is an evangelism event in a busy part of the city where we will be able to play music, preach the Gospel, and share more about Jesus. He will primarily be running sound for these events as well as our morning training events to help equip people to go out. Megan will be involved in hospitality during this time, creating a nice environment for participants who join the outreach. She will be helping with practical details to help run things so the campus can host all the participants staying at the campus. The training mornings of teaching will happen at our campus this year.

North Africa Outreach

At the end of May, we were asked to pray about going on a scouting trip to a city that we hope to keep investing in as a campus in the future by sending teams and supporting the long term vision of the people working there.

We felt God speak to us to join the trip so we bought tickets the next morning with another friend who would be leading the trip. After that we were off to a predominately muslim nation in North Africa to scout for our campus! It was a good time learning about the culture, praying for the city and people there, and meeting people. We felt like we came back from the trip with good information and insight to bring to the next team who would be going. We invite y’all to pray for our team that is currently there, a very hard ground spiritually.

  • Salvations: 73

  • Healings: 33

  • People prayed for: 2,400+

  • Gospel shared: 1,00+

Prayer requests 

  • Please pray more for our health, for the past fews months we still have had an off and on sickness. Megan has been sick more and we are trusting for healing, renewed strength, immunity, and energy.

  • Jacob’s Visa to be renewed after long time of waiting.
